This is Our Club

After moving to Colorado 11 years ago I found it hard to breathe, so exercise was out of the question. I have been an insulin dependent diabetic since I was a child. This July 4th I had dinner in Parker and on my way home I got mixed up and ended up in the parking lot where I saw the Pole Fitness sign. I'd been searching for something fun to bring me back to life, and I had just found it! The thought of finding myself, getting my groove back and doing it by having FUN was exciting. I came in for my first class on July 9th and to say it was lame (on my part) is an understatement. Without the encouragement of the instructors and the other classmates, I might have given up. I didn't give up though; in fact I went to every class I could. The shorts I am holding in the picture are the shorts I wore on July 9th. Yes, they fit then, but they are no longer a part of my workout clothes. I have gone from a size 16 to a size 6! My diabetic health has changed for the better as well. Thanks to the wonderful instructors at The Mile High Pole Club, I found myself!

For the first time I actually look forward to working out. I love Pole Fitness because I'm always having too much fun to realize I'm working out...until the next day when I'm sore. I've lost weight, gained flexibility and strength, all while having a blast. I'd recommend Pole Fitness to any woman

I was skeptical at first when my friend kept asking me to come to class, but after I gave in and went, I realized how fun it really was! I love the workout because it strengthens your whole body, especially your core. I haven't been this strong since my swim team days in college! And it really is so much more fun than going to the gym!
